Actually, I've been planning to go to one of you're guys matches for a while now, but I've never had a chance. So instead, I was wondering if I could make a division in OKC, with a few teams that would head over the next chance we get (which is probably never, since me and my friends are 15 and 14, but hey, try to be optimistic). And if so, would it be a divison of AAA or a partner group based somewhere else?

Oh, and by the way, if you want to know the pros and cons what you guys would want us to do (divison group of AAA or partner group in OKC) PROS of Remaining within the AAA We...remain within the AAA A lot easier to maintain things CONS of Remaining with AAA Probably never play down in Altus until summer on account of transportation problems PROS of starting partner group with the AAA Wouldn't have to worry about some of the restricting rules in AAA. Would have a harder time to round everyone on a bus down to Altus at 7 in the morning just to get there on time. Easier for people near OKC to commute. CONS of starting partner group with the AAA A LOT more of a hassle to contact and set up partner matches. Harder to find fields in the OKC area.
Please someone give me your opinion. Especially if you're in the OKC area (or closer to OKC than to Altus)
If it is a division, I've got 3 people willing to join, and we're planning to call it the 88th Armored (we have go karts with cardboard boxes on them) or Airborne (even though we don't play a airborne scenario). If it is a partner group, we're planning to call it the Oh Noes Airsoft Matches OKC group. Whatever you guys think is fine with me, and if you think the names are dumb, we're taking suggestions.

Is there a CQB area in OKC? We don't see much of those in Altus.

We need a field now, Kelly Field is off limits because Jackle is off for the Marines. But, if you have a field in OKC I'm sure that we could all talk to our parents about spending a few weekends in OKC playing airsoft. Of course, if this is to happen we'll need transportation and an increased Slush Fund to pay for our hotels.

Ok, now what do we want it to be, a partner group or another division/team? And we've found 2 fields here. One that is Unzoned territory owned by the city, which we need a 500 dollar permit for, and one that is owned by one of the player's uncle, which he's a reefer and we aren't even sure if he's sure he let us use it. But we've also got other alternatives, just not available to us until next year at the least.

stay away from the reefer, and $500 dollars aint so bad if everyone pitches in. Between the 20 members, it'll be $40 each. Is the permit for a one time use or can we wander on whenever. Also, can you look into the cost of buying that land for our private use?

Haven't been able to get much info about it. And when I said 500 dollars, that was merely an expression. I have no clue how much it really is, I just know we need a permit. A call to the city takes longer than a call to the department of motor vehicles, and you still can't get very much info. I do, however, know some people that work in the capitol, and I'm gonna see if I can run my connection through. Oh, and just to note, the field/swamp isn't that big. It's about the size of two of the dorm room thingies at Wester Oklahoma State College (which I think is down in Altus, since I go every summer for a biology camp). So, yeah. If I can get a hold of buying the land, it's not gonna be cheap. The price of land here rises faster than gas. 1995: $8000 per acre. 2004: $52000 and acre. No thanks to the fact that we're in the metro with land usually always next to a walmart. Now, if I could just get some of the dudes at my school to get 20 bucks and buy some tangfolios from academy, we'll have enough people to get some notice and put up a community sign for the govorner/mayor: AIRSOFT-MY ANTI DRUG
NOTE: I JUST GOT RIPPED OFF!!! I spent 40 bucks on a gun that said 270 FPS, full auto, THE THING DOESN"T EVEN SHOOT 100 FPS!!!

Oh, and just in case we do get the stupid land problem figured out soon, we've set up our group. We're hoping it would be a partner group (but we are willing to get it into a division) and have 2 divisions in it already, the 88th Tactical Airborne Unit and the 77th Tactical Armoured Group. I'm pretty sure I can get this sorted out in a week if I get off my lazy ass.
